London Scenes

A year ago I became a member of Skylark Galleries in London.

The gallery is situated just past the OXO Tower on the South Bank.

I decided to develop a new range of work that centered on iconic London buildings

.This picture of Tower Bridge is one of the first embroideries I made.

I've used various techniques in building the picture up.

The sky is painted, buildings machine stitched and the water has printed fabric, overlayed with sheer fabrics and hand stitches.

I enjoy solving how to interpret & develop each picture.
